Late August update

Our team recently earned their ServSafe Manager certifications. This certification is a nationally recognized food safety credential for those who serve food in public places, such as restaurants, accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) and the Conference for Food Protection (CFP).

Reggie, our Executive Director, has personally assisted six unhoused neighbors—including our long-time volunteer Tamiko—in securing permanent housing this year.

While the impact of Charlie's Place is soaring, individual giving is running behind ($34,500 so far this year vs. $61,5000 compared to the same period last year).
